Jump’in Straight Leather Tom Thumb Pelham bit has a nylon lined flat leather mouthpiece with stainless steel rings. The leather softens in the horse’s mouth and creates a comfortable contact that conforms to the tongue. Horses that are sensitive to the coldness and hardness of metal may prefer the more natural feel of leather.

The nylon core of the Straight Leather Tom Thumb Bit ensures strength while keeping the mouthpiece flexible. After each use, rinse the bit to prevent any residue from remaining. To keep leather supple, condition it with vegetable oil only. Do NOT use neatsfoot oil or other any synthetic oils or tack conditioners.
