The Double Cross mouthpiece combined with the 6 3/4″ shanks makes a nice bit to prepare a horse for the bridle. The Double Cross mouthpiece is double jointed with a flat, longer center link that adds tongue pressure. The addition of copper rollers encourages salivation to keep the bit functioning properly and increase bit acceptance.
