Pelham Ring Bit Converters from Walsh make it easy to use a Pelham bit with a single rein. There are many reasons it might be convenient to convert a Pelham this way. Some riders don’t quite have the hang of using two sets of reins. Children might not have big enough hands to hold that much leather in their hands. The Walsh Ring Bit Converters attach to the rings where you would ordinarily attach the two sets of reins, creating a half loop. Then, you attach a single rein to the loop.
